Payment Policy
Clients are required to make payment for therapy sessions at least 48 hours in advance, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Cancellation Policy
Clients must provide 48 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations. In the event of a cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice, the Therapist will retain 50% of the session fee, with the remaining amount applicable towards the next appointment.

Appointment Guidelines
Clients should connect at the designated appointment time using their chosen video or telephone platform. For video or telephone sessions, clients should ensure timely contact with the Therapist. The Therapist will wait for 15 minutes; if the client has not reached out by then, the session will be considered closed. These timeframes also apply to in-person appointments.

Parking Guidelines
During 'in-person' therapy sessions, clients are requested to park in a manner that does not obstruct nearby buildings, neighbours, or roadways.

Session Duration
A standard therapy session lasts one hour, consisting of 50 minutes of active engagement and 10 minutes designated for note-taking or information review. For younger children and teenagers, sessions are recommended to be either 30 or 45 minutes. Initial appointments for adults may extend to 1.5 or 2 hours if desired. Session fees will be charged on a prorated basis.

Consent for Minors
Parental consent is required for clients under the age of 16.

Between Sessions
If clients request that the Therapist review letters, reports, or documents between sessions, this will incur charges on a prorated basis. Clients may opt to allocate reading time into their therapy session. If support is needed between sessions, especially in times of crisis, it will be provided when feasible and will be billed at the standard rate.
